Make good compost at home, the easy way

Updated on 19/11/2025 Posted on 9/12/2022

Composting requires air, specifically oxygen. With traditional compost bins, the wastes are aerated by regular manual mixing, which is often difficult and a chore.

The importance of waste aeration

A steady supply of fresh air is necessary to convert waste fully into compost. Partially aerated wastes running low on oxygen will become acidic and start producing smells.

In traditional compost bins, proper aeration is only possible through regular and rigorous mixing.

The self-aerating Bioverter

Bioverter is designed with bespoke ventilation to provide the oxygen required for composting without disrupting the process. You can simply put your wastes in it, close the lid, and leave Bioverter to produce good compost without any mixing.

As a no-mix compost system, Bioverter breaks down wastes in the order you put them in, ensuring a thorough breakdown of waste.

It then self-empties freshly made compost into a pull-out collector for easy removal.

Making compost at home is easy with Bioverter. Its unique Feed & Collect composting setup enables Bioverter to transform aerated wastes into fresh compost ready for harvesting.
